Fitness News – May & June 2026

As we welcome the warmer weather and spring turns to summer, we are adjusting our schedules to balance work lives with exercise and family time. School will be out soon and we’ll see families enjoying fun and fitness together.

Group exercise classes offer an important factor which brings people together for a common cause—getting stronger together with the social connection of sheer group energy, peer motivation, and stress release. Bay-O-Vista members are kind and caring and I’ve certainly witnessed this over the years!

💪 Programming Focus

Our focus in group classes is to offer a variety of styles and formats that challenge and inspire members. We are using the building blocks of:

  • Strength
  • Cardio
  • Mobility
  • Stability
  • Core
  • Balance
  • Recovery

as we continue to build and stay current with our programming.

🆕 New Class Series (May–June)

We are excited to share two new classes beginning as workshop series:

  • Mondays @ 6:00 PM (6/1 – 6/29/26)
    Summer Bootcamp with AL

  • Fridays @ 10:00 AM (5/22 – 6/14/26)
    Yoga for Longevity with Dana

“Group exercise brings people together—building strength through connection, motivation, and shared energy.”

👨‍👩‍👧 Youth Fitness Note

Though Kidfit is on hiatus this summer, young members ages 13 and up are welcome to join our group exercise classes with a parent.

The transition from game/play-based fitness to more structured fitness can be invaluable and help set the stage for a healthy lifestyle.

🌿 Summer Wellness Reminder

Enjoy what the club has to offer and perhaps add a class or two to your pursuit of summer wellness.

  • Stay hydrated
  • Follow summer skincare protocols
  • Stay consistent with movement

See you in class!
