The arrival of spring is an exciting time where we see new growth, activity, and creativity blossoming. Spring is a reminder that change is possible, and your fitness journey can change too. For fitness professionals, spring is often a time to renew credits and attend conferences where master trainers and presenters reveal new trends, equipment, and research dedicated to our field. Our regional conference focuses on the categories of power and performance, longevity, function, and wellness. As fitness leaders, we strive to stay informed of these trends, learning new techniques and ways to motivate our classes.
New Spring Challenge Class: Step and Strength
We are excited to offer a new spring challenge class called “Step and Strength” on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM beginning March 4th. This classic cardio/strength class is considered a H.I.I.T. (high-intensity interval training) format for those interested in boosting their fitness level before summer months are upon us! This special class will be offered for a trial period, so come check it out and see if the format is a good fit for you!
Honoring Jennifer West
In January, we paid tribute to our dear yoga teacher, Jennifer West. The class was well attended, and I want to thank all the generous members who contributed to muttville.org in Jennifer’s memory. As of today, we have collectively donated $5,027.00, which makes it possible for senior dogs to have a second chance at life and be placed in a loving home. Muttville has expressed their sincere gratitude for all we have done for these dogs. I think Jennifer and her family would be so pleased to know that her love spread a long way!
